McLean Va., May 16, 2025 — Main Digital, a leading digital transformation consultancy, is proud to announce its founder and CEO, Sanam Boroumand, has been named the winner of the 2025 Women in Technology (WIT) Leadership Award in the Founder/Entrepreneur category. The award was presented at the 26th Annual WIT Leadership Awards Gala on May 15 at the Hyatt Regency in Reston.
Hosted by Women in Technology (WIT), the annual gala celebrates exceptional women leaders in the Washington, D.C. technology community who are advancing innovation, empowering their communities and championing the advancement of women in the industry. This year’s event drew an unprecedented number of nominations and honored standout leaders across corporate, government, nonprofit and entrepreneurial sectors.
Boroumand was recognized for her outstanding leadership in founding and scaling Main Digital, a consultancy known for its people-first approach, rapid growth and focus on client impact. Under her direction, the company has received back-to-back recognition on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies and was named a Best Place to Work in Virginia in both 2024 and 2025.
As part of this recognition, Boroumand will receive a scholarship and admission to WIT’s prestigious Leadership Foundry cohort, a nine-month program focused on preparing women for corporate board service. Sponsored by Ampcus and delivered in partnership with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the program includes board training, leadership development and high-level networking opportunities.
